Moore Reach Boat designed by Geoff McKonly

I designed this boat for a client for use on a lake on the end of Long Island as well as the Sound. It is a traditionally built, gunter rigged daysailer. The hull is 18′ and is lapstrake cedar planking, over steam bent white oak frames. The hull is accented with genuine mahogany and the seating is Spanish cedar. The project was launched Labor Day weekend 2009.

Interior Work on Silent Maid Catboat

John Brady and the Independence Seaport Museum built a reproduction of the 1924, 33′ catboat, Silent Maid. John contracted me to build some of the interior details for the project. The boat was launched in June of 2009.
